If Zelenskyy Is Ready, Let Him Come to Moscow — Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sept. 3 that he has “never ruled out” holding a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Orda.kz reports.
He added that such talks could only take place if they are properly prepared and could lead to “positive results."
“If Zelensky is ready, let him come to Moscow,” Putin told journalists during his briefing in Beijing.
Putin reportedly floated a similar proposal in August following his meeting with Trump in Alaska.
Despite previous statements and announcements concerning a meeting between the two, one has never taken place. Putin has also repeatedly questioned his legitimacy as Ukraine’s leader.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, Zelenskyy has voiced readiness for direct talks, including a proposal to meet on neutral ground in Türkiye.
Meanwhile, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Sept. 2 that neither Russian President Vladimir Putin nor Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is currently ready for direct talks.
