At a government meeting, Health Minister Akmaral Alnazarova addressed the issue of personnel shortages in the regions and outlined the types of support available to doctors from the state, Orda.kz reports.
To attract doctors to rural areas, the state offers substantial assistance. Medical specialists who relocate to villages for in-demand positions are paid a one-time allowance of 8.5 million tenge.
In addition, healthcare professionals who have arrived to work and live in rural areas are provided with social support measures within the framework of the 'With a Diploma to the Village!' program,
Akmaral Alnazarova said.
Other social guarantees and payments are also provided. However, according to the minister, "decisions on payments have not been made everywhere to this day." She did not specify which regions were affected.
