Halyk Bank Approves Dividend Payout of 229 Billion Tenge

Halyk Bank will distribute dividends for 2024 totaling 229 billion 193 million 967.7 thousand tenge, Orda.kz reports.
According to an announcement on the KASE website, shareholders approved the dividend payment at a general meeting on September 22. Net income per share was set at 21 tenge, and payouts will begin after September 25.
The bank is controlled by Timur and Dinara Kulibayev through the Almex holding group, which owns 69.48% of common shares. Another 27.92% is held nominally by The Bank of New York. Based on official holdings, dividends for the Kulibayevs amount to 159 billion 254.3 million tenge.
Timur Kulibayev ranks fourth on the Forbes Kazakhstan list with a net worth of $5.3 billion.
Earlier, it was reported that Halyk Bank’s net profit for the first half of 2025 rose 39.4% compared to the same period in 2024.
