Georgia: Zourabichvili Demanded New Parliamentary Elections

Protests continue in Georgia against the suspension of European integration, Orda reports.
President Salome Zourabichvili has refused to leave the post despite the approaching end of her term.
She has demanded to set a date for new parliamentary elections by December 29. She has also faced threats of a criminal charge if she does not step down by December 29.
The electoral college has "elected a successor" — former football player Mikhail Kavelashvili.
Salome Zourabichvili and the opposition refuse to recognize the parliamentary elections' results and Kavelashvili's appointment.
