Furmanov Peak Swing Restored and Area Upgraded

The legendary swing at Furmanov Peak in the Ile-Alatau National Park has been restored, and the surrounding area has been improved, Orda.kz reports.
New benches and architectural elements have been added.
Support structures of the swing were reinforced, the design was updated using eco-friendly, anti-vandal materials, and the area around was landscaped with additional leisure features, the Almaty city administration said.
Visitors are asked to treat the new installation with care.
Located at an altitude of 2,524 meters, Furmanov Peak is a popular destination among mountain enthusiasts, known for its “sky swing” and scenic photo opportunities.
