Former Shymkent Maslikhat Deputy Placed on Wanted List

Former deputy of the Shymkent maslikhat, Kuanysh Dauletaliyev, has been declared wanted, Orda.kz reports.
Information about the search appeared on the portal of the Legal Statistics and Special Accounts Committee of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Kazakhstan.

According to the database, the 48-year-old is wanted by the police department of the Turan district. The case was registered on September 2, but the reason for the search had not been specified.
Later, the Shymkent police clarified that the case concerns an insult charge. Dauletaliyev had been notified in advance of the date and time of the court hearing and was obliged to appear, but failed to do so. Following this, the court issued a ruling for compulsory attendance. On September 2, officers of the Turkistan Administrative Police executed the order, locating the former deputy and bringing him to court.
Dauletaliyev, 48, previously worked in business before serving as deputy director for commercial affairs at Senim-Qurylys LLP and later at BOINIS KS LLP.
He also led the Auyl party faction in the maslikhat.
