Former Deputy Minister, Dismissed After Sherzat Polat's Death, Heads Transport Police

Aidos Rysbayev received the position per a Minister of Internal Affairs mandate, Orda reports citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The department reports that Rysbayev has been appointed head of the transport police department in agreement with the presidential administration.
Aidos Rysbayev has significant experience in management work, previously held the position of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and has the necessary qualities for effective management of the unit, the Ministry of Internal Affairs repoted.
Aidos Rysbayev left the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs post on October 18, 2024, having worked there for only 11 months. He was dismissed amid mass law enforcement personnel rotations.
Rysbayev’s dismissal happened against the backdrop of the situation surrounding the killing of 16-year-old Sherzat Polat in Talgar.
