Previously, the board included citizens of the United States and Switzerland, Orda.kz reports.
The KazTransOil website indicates that a new board of directors was elected at the general meeting of shareholders held on November 25.
The updated board includes Kainar Kozhumov, the research center's managing partner, and Amir Bozzhigitov, the son of the former Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan.
Nurlan Akhanzaripov is the third independent director.
Kozhumov and Bozzhigitov replaced two foreign citizens previously on the board of directors: Timothy Glenn Miller and Adrien Freyssinet.
In November, KazTransOil reported its profit for the first three quarters of 2024. The company's income from transporting Kazakhstan's oil fell by almost five percent.
