Incarcerated persons of colony No. 29 of the DUIS of the Qaraganda region have made an enormous snow flag on a football field, 18 meters long and 60 centimeters thick, reports an Orda.kz correspondent.
The work took two weeks, several tons of snow, and many liters of paint in shades of blue and yellow.
The national flag is one of the official symbols of our country. Therefore, in honor of the independence celebration, we decided to do an unusual job - a flag made of snow and ice of the largest size. So that everyone who passes by can be proud of their homeland, Lieutenant Colonel Zhanseyt Abilkasimov said.
