A fire broke out in one of the towers of the “Grozny City” complex, damaging part of the building’s exterior. The incident occurred as videos began circulating online during the temporary closure of Grozny Airport due to a reported threat of a drone attack, Orda.kz reports, citing The Caucasian Knot.
Reportedly, an explosion occurred in the complex, affecting several floors.
One tower in the Grozny City business center was damaged.
Footage published shows flames burning on a mid-level floor, with exterior panels damaged across at least seven levels of the building.
A Chechen opposition Telegram channel was the first to share photos of the damage, writes The Caucasian Knot.
