The former head of Bank RBK has been sent back to serve his sentence, Orda.kz reports.
Following the court's decision, he was detained and is currently in custody,
the Committee for the Penal Enforcement System of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Orda.
The ex-banker, convicted of embezzling 144 billion tenge, was released from his sentence under an amnesty in early September of this year.
However, the court’s ruling was later overturned after intervention from parliamentarians and prosecutors.
