David O'Sullivan, the European Union's International Special Envoy for Sanctions, will visit Kazakhstan and hold a press conference, Orda reports.
According to the EU Delegation in Kazakhstan, O'Sullivan will arrive in Astana on January 30 for several meetings with officials.
A press conference will be organized following the visit.
The EU delegation did not specify the topics O'Sullivan would discuss with officials in Astana.
However, they noted that the position of International Special Envoy for Sanctions was created to "ensure continuous discussion" of matters related to the circumvention of economic restrictions against Russia.
O'Sullivan has held this position since January 2022.
