Escalation in The Middle East: Kazakhstan Urges Restraint, Halts Flights Over 6 Countries

In an official statement, the agency said it supports a swift resolution of the conflict through political and diplomatic means, Orda.kz reports.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan expresses serious concern over the dangerous military escalation in the Middle East and supports a swift resolution of the conflict exclusively by political and diplomatic means in accordance with the UN Charter and international law. We urge all parties involved to exercise maximum restraint.
Meanwhile, six Kazakhstan citizens have been evacuated from Iran into Azerbaijan via the Astara crossing. Azerbaijan provided them with necessary assistance, including medical care and meals, as the evacuation continues
The Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan has issued a full ban on flights over, within, or near the airspace of Iran, Israel, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Lebanon. This applies to all scheduled and non-scheduled passenger, cargo, and technical flights — effective immediately until further notice.
