ERG: No Talks Underway Regarding Sale of Company

Shukhrat Ibragimov, Chair of the Board and CEO of ERG, has stated that no negotiations are taking place regarding the sale of the company, according to Eurasian Resources Group in Kazakhstan, Orda.kz reports, citing the company's Telegram channel.
The company confirms the full commitment of the group’s leadership to the continued, consistent, and sustainable development of the business. There are no changes to the usual way of doing business. At the end of 2024, ERG's Board of Directors approved a new strategy focused on further development and investment in the company’s enterprises, and ERG is currently working on its implementation. The group remains firmly focused on long-term growth and creating value for all stakeholders, the company said in a statement.
American investor James Cameron has reportedly offered to buy ERG’s business for $5 billion, according to Reuters, citing its own source.
