Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has invited Kazakh President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev to visit Türkiye and take part in the fifth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, Orda.kz reports.
The previous session was held in 2022, focusing on foreign policy, investment, trade and economic cooperation, transport and logistics, defense industry, energy, and agriculture.
At the time, the two leaders signed six cooperation agreements in the following areas:
- Healthcare
- Veterinary and food safety
- Culture
- Museum work and preservation of historical monuments
- Technical regulation, standardization, accreditation, and certification
- Social and family services.
This year’s meeting is scheduled for July 29, with both presidents expected to discuss further steps to strengthen the Kazakhstan–Türkiye strategic partnership.
Back in March, Toqayev and Erdoğan reaffirmed their commitment to closer cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats.
