Environmentally Friendly Aviation Fuel to Be Produced in Kazakhstan — Vice Minister of Transport Lastayev

According to the official, Kazakhstan has ideal conditions for this, Orda.kz reports.
Talgat Lastayev spoke about plans to produce environmentally friendly aviation fuel of the Jet A-1 category at the Green Airports seminar in Almaty.
According to him, the EU is now tightening requirements for aircraft fuel. Therefore, a project to produce environmentally friendly fuel that meets EU requirements is planned.
KazMunayGas is assumed to produce it, and a corresponding project is currently being drafted there.
According to Lastayev, the production is expected to be launched in 2028.
