Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev was once again asked about the wearing of hijabs in schools, Orda.kz reports.
He noted that the law sets uniform requirements for school attire, and schools will strictly enforce them.
Therefore I would like to warn — there is a legal framework under which parents can be held liable for violating school uniform rules. Everyone must strictly follow internal school regulations. This applies not only to the hijab and headscarf, but to compliance with the school uniform in general, the minister said at a government press conference.
