The oil leak on a section of the Druzhba pipeline in western Poland was commented on by Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy, Orda.kz reports.
This past weekend, a break occurred in the Druzhba oil pipeline, which supplies oil from Kazakhstan to Germany.
The Ministry of Energy of the Republic reported today that oil transportation through the damaged line was stopped. Oil supplies have been redirected to the second branch.
The technical capabilities of the second line fully ensure the transportation of oil. As of November 2024, the supply of Kazakhstan's oil in this direction was fully carried out according to schedule, the department said in a statement.
The Ministry also clarified that oil deliveries from Kazakhstan to the refinery in the German city of Schwedt are expected from December 20 to 30.
