Global oil prices have stabilized at $75 per barrel for Brent crude following a Ukrainian drone attack on the CPC Kropotkinskaya station, Orda reports, citing Bloomberg.
The station is a key facility handling oil exports from Kazakhstan's Tengiz field.
Uncertainty about OPEC+ production decisions has affected the situation as well.
The incident occurred on February 17, when seven explosive-laden drones struck the Kropotkinskaya station in Russia's Krasnodar Region. The Caspian Pipeline Consortium reported the attack led to a temporary shutdown of the station, with oil flows being redirected at reduced volumes.
The market response comes amid broader concerns about OPEC+ production levels, with Kazakhstan facing scrutiny for exceeding its allocated quotas.
Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliyev recently addressed the consortium regarding increased production at the Tengiz field.
