Digital Rating for Military Commanders Proposed in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan’s Majilis has approved a bill that would introduce a digital rating system for candidates for senior military appointments, Orda.kz reports.
Deputy Aigul Kuspan presented the draft law "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Improving the Legal Status of Military Personnel, Defence and Military Service".
According to Aigul Kuspan, the bill proposes a digital rating for candidates being considered for higher military posts and would also regulate the activities of the Ministry of Defence’s military missions to international organizations.
The draft also includes provisions on military service and social support for service members.
