Digital Nomads: MCRIAP Gave Details on Visa

The Kazakh authorities announced the launch of the Digital Nomad Visa last week, Orda.kz reports.
As the Ministry of Digital Development reported, the Digital Nomad Visa program is already operating in our country. As previously reported, it can be used by IT specialists with a stable income outside of Kazakhstan of $3,000 or more, health insurance, and a certificate of no criminal record.
The Ministry explained what specific advantages digital nomads will be able to receive:
- Flexible visa regime: simplified procedures for applying for and extending visas.
- 5G and satellite access: Stable connection throughout the country.
- Adaptation support: finding housing and professional connections.
- Government support: Simplification of doing business and participation in innovative projects.
Kazakhstan became the second Central Asian country to introduce visas for digital nomads.
