The Digital Bridge 2025 forum, held in early October in Astana, was financed exclusively through sponsorship, according to government officials. However, the exact amount spent remains undisclosed, Orda.kz reports.
Vice Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Doszhan Musaliev announced this at a government briefing.
The Digital Bridge International Forum was funded entirely by sponsorship. In accordance with the requests and agreements we signed with the sponsors, this information is confidential. However, I would like to point out that it was funded entirely by sponsorship,
said Musaliev.
Internet Issues at the Forum
Musaliev also commented on the network disruptions reported during the event.
According to him, the problems were caused by an unexpectedly high number of participants, which overloaded communication channels.
This rapid increase put a significant strain on the communications networks, especially when so many devices were indoors at the same time. They began to interfere with each other, causing some short-term connection issues. With the help of the operator, we responded quickly, connecting five additional base stations, and the problem was resolved,
added the vice minister.
