CSTO Summit: Sadyr Japarov Arrived in Kazakhstan

Sadyr Japarov arrived in Kazakhstan on a working visit. He was met at the airport by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, Orda.kz reports, citing the Kyrgyz Presidential Administration.
The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit will be held in Astana on November 28.
On Thursday, there will be a joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers, the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils, and a CSTO Collective Security Council session.
The organization's press service indicates that the CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov and the Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Andrei Serdyukov will attend the events.
An exchange of views on the military-political situation in the regions of collective security, a discussion of the results of cooperation within the CSTO and prospects for further development of the collective security system are envisaged. Special attention will be paid to issues of preparation for the joint celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It is planned that the Kyrgyz Republic will inform about the priorities of its chairing in the organization in 2025,
the message says.
Earlier, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, and the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, arrived in the capital on a state visit.
TASS reports that Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergei Shoigu will also attend the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council.
