"Concrete Results Are Needed" – Qasym-Jomart Toqayev Chairs Security Council Meeting

A regular Security Council meeting was held under Qasym-Jomart Toqayev's chairing, Orda reports, citing Aqorda.
The session reviewed the results of the national security risk management action plan for 2024 and assessed the overall strategy for 2021–2025.
The discussion focused on public, economic, environmental, and information security.
During the meeting, the President emphasized that government agencies must strengthen coordination to effectively combat extremism and terrorism and strengthen national security in all its aspects.
The key priority is the security of citizens and the state as a whole.
Following the meeting, government agencies were given specific instructions.
The Aqorda press service also reported that the President stressed the need to evaluate the implementation of the national security strategy based on tangible results that matter to society. Additionally, he highlighted the importance of considering citizen and state security in nearly all areas of development.
The meeting also focused on countering terrorism and extremism, with National Security Committee Chair Yermek Sagimbayev outlining measures to mitigate risks and enhance anti-terrorism measures.
