A group of children from Ukraine will be accommodated at a health and education center in the Aqmola region, Orda.kz reports.
On June 3, the children arrived in Astana, from where they were sent to the republican educational and health center “Baldauren,” located on the shore of Lake Shchuchye.
According to representatives of the center, this is the first time they are hosting children from Ukraine.
To expand their knowledge of Kazakhstan, excursions to the State National Nature Park ‘Burabay’ are planned for the young guests. An excursion trip to Astana with a visit to the capital's sights will also be organized,
a statement from the RUC "Baldauren" reads.
Neither the center nor the Ministry of Education disclosed the number of Ukrainian children who arrived, citing security reasons. However, the ministry noted that “Baldauren” has hosted schoolchildren from other countries since 2002.
Over that period, the center has received 700 children from 15 countries.
