Charyn Nature Park: Endangered Otter Seen for The First Time

The Central Asian otter is a rare animal of our country; it is listed in the Red Book of Kazakhstan, Orda.kz reports, citing the Committee of Forestry and Wildlife.
The animal was caught on camera in the Sartogay section of the Charyn State National Nature Park.
The Central Asian otter is classified as a 2nd rare species in the Red Book of Kazakhstan, as a species whose numbers are rapidly declining. The registration of the Central Asian otter in the park is the result of conservation measures and systematic monitoring of ecosystems,
The Committee on Forestry and Wildlife reported.
