Central Asian Media Outlet Announces Temporary Suspension of Operations

The editorial team announced that they "would temporarily be unable to report on corrupt officials, law enforcement misconduct, and other problems in our countries," reports Orda.kz.

We are forced to suspend the publication of materials. We are grateful to everyone who read and supported us. This is sad news, but we are not saying goodbye forever and hope to return soon, the editorial team wrote.

The announcement appeared on the outlet's social media accounts, with no reason given for the decision.

"Mediazona Central Asia" has also covered events in Iran, Afghanistan, and China.
