Central Asia: Kazakhstan's Military Maintains Leading Position

Kazakhstan has edged up one position in Global Firepower's latest military strength rankings, now standing at 57th place compared to 58th in 2024.
Among Central Asian nations, Kazakhstan leads the pack, with Uzbekistan following closely behind at 58th place.
Further down the rankings are Turkmenistan (77th), Kyrgyzstan (105th), and Tajikistan (108th).
The country shows particular strength in specific military capabilities.
Its arsenal of 407 multiple-launch rocket systems ranks 17th globally, while its self-propelled artillery force places an impressive 21st worldwide.
