Armenia: Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Reaffirms Commitment to South Caucasus Connectivity Initiative, Recalls 'Crossroads of Peace'

The Armenian Foreign Ministry has once again reaffirmed the priority of unblocking transport infrastructure in the South Caucasus, Orda.kz reports, citing NewsArmenia.
As is known, Armenia has proposed its own vision for regional connectivity — the 'Crossroads of Peace' — which has already received positive responses from several international partners. Moreover, Armenia has offered a number of solutions within this initiative that could be acceptable to all parties involved,said Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan
His statement came in response to a Carnegie Foundation article claiming that the Trump administration had presented Armenia and Azerbaijan with proposals for unblocking infrastructure in the South Caucasus.
Reportedly, various international partners have also periodically presented their ideas for normalizing Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.
