Small and medium businesses in Kazakhstan incur losses due to introducing a single time zone.
The profits are spent on paying electricity bills, while customers have lost interest in going out.
Entrepreneurs reported this at a press conference organized by the Union of Builders of Kazakhstan in the capital's branch of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken," Orda.kz reports. It was also stated that educational institutions cannot adapt to the change.
Recently, a court dismissed litigation brought forward by a lawyer from East Kazakhstan, Serikzhan Akhmetzhanov.
He filed a lawsuit against the government of Kazakhstan and demanded the return of the previous time zones.
