Kazakhstan’s Economy Ministry has changed the rules for assessing state support for businesses. Final reports on the effectiveness of financial, property, and non-financial support measures will now be sent to the government once every three years, Orda.kz reports.
State support for businesses includes subsidies, preferential financing, property assistance, and consulting tools. The state will now combine assessments of their effectiveness into a general report for the government every three years.
The effectiveness of individual tools may be checked through telephone and online surveys of participants. If necessary, officials will be able to add extra questions for specific support programs.
The rules for appealing state support decisions have also been updated. The standards must now include contacts of specialists who can help provide clarification or prepare a complaint. Separate contact centers will be provided for digital services.
The changes will come into force on July 12, 2026.
