LLP "Yelorda Kurylys Kompaniyasy" is a state-owned developer engaged in completing problematic projects in the capital.
The company's general director, Ruslan Kadesov, received a 170-million-tenge bribe from a contractor to increase the estimate for a building's construction.
The court of first instance sentenced him to 10 years and his intermediary to six months. Both had their property confiscated and were banned from working in the civil service.
