Boao Forum for Asia: China and Kazakhstan Discussed Trade and Economic Cooperation

Within the 24th session of the Boao Forum for Asia, First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar met with Vice Premier of the State Council of China Ding Xuexiang, Orda reports.
The parties discussed strengthening the strategic partnership, particularly the development of trade and economic, investment, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation. Ding Xuexiang emphasized the importance of deepening trade and economic ties and implementing the agreements reached at the highest level.
Roman Sklyar invited his Chinese colleague to visit Kazakhstan. Sklyar also participated in the forum's opening ceremony, which was attended by more than two thousand participants, including heads of government organizations, representatives of large companies, scientific circles, and experts from 60 countries.
As part of the forum, Roman Sklyar spoke at a panel session on global supply chains.
He focused the participants' attention on the importance of strengthening trade, economic, transport, and logistics cooperation between Asian countries, joint work to reduce trade barriers and form new transport routes, and the use of digital technologies and AI to improve mutual supply chains.
Sklyar called on Asian countries to work actively together.
