Belgrade: Toqayev Thanked Serbian Side for Support during Spring Floods

The President of Kazakhstan held talks in a narrow format with his Serbian counterpart Vucic.
Qasym-Jomart Toqayev said his first visit to Serbia as Head of State was crucial.
He recalled the natural disaster that hit Kazakhstan in the spring and thanked Aleksandar Vucic for his solidarity and support.
The President of Serbia noted that Belgrade is interested in further strengthening economic ties with Astana, including in trade and investment.
They touched upon the topic of joint projects and discussed issues on the regional and international agenda.
Before the meeting, a guard of honor was lined up on the square in front of the palace.
After the two nations' anthems were played, artillery salvos were fired. Then, the presidents introduced members of the official delegations to each other.
