Belarusian companies seek to purchase Kazakhstan's grain, flour, and other agricultural products through the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, offering their goods in return, Orda reports.
According to ElDala.kz, Belarusian producers are interested in Kazakhstan's wheat, corn, oilseeds, meal, flour, and sunflower oil. They also seek to import coal and metal products from Kazakhstan.
In exchange, Belarus offers a variety of products, including meat and dairy (frozen and chilled beef, butter, dry milk, and cheeses), potato starch, wheat gluten, amino acids, and fur and leather raw materials.
To improve producer access to exchange trading, Kazakhstan's Ministry of Trade and Integration, the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, and the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange will host an informational seminar in Astana on March 4.
The event will guide companies on entering new markets, obtaining accreditation, and utilizing exchange mechanisms for bilateral trade.
