A camera trap installed in Katon-Qaragay National Park captured a humorous scene featuring a brown bear, Orda.kz reports.
The curious animal noticed the device and seemed to decide it was being filmed without permission.
In the footage, the bear carefully inspects the camera, touches it with its paw, and even tries to bite it. “He looked at it from every angle, tried it, touched it with his paw — apparently he decided to delete the bad footage!” park staff humorously noted.
According to the national park, ranger Zhomart Amanbayev installed the camera trap to monitor wildlife. Thanks to his work, internet users can now enjoy rare footage showing how wild animals interact with modern technology.
Earlier, it was reported that camera traps in the Sairam-Ugam State National Nature Park in the Turkistan Region captured rare wild animals listed in Kazakhstan’s Red Data Book, including the snow leopard and the Tien Shan brown bear.
