Bashar al-Assad Reportedly in Moscow, Received Asylum - TASS

        Bashar al-Assad and his family members arrived in Moscow, Russia granted them asylum, Orda reports, citing TASS.
The BBC Russian Service reports that Assad could have been taken out of Syria by a Russian plane.
Previously, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation made an official statement claiming Assad left and gave the order to transfer power:
We are following the dramatic events in Syria with extreme concern. As a result of the negotiations held between Assad and a number of participants in the armed conflict in the SAR, he decided to leave the presidential post and left the country, giving instructions to transfer power peacefully, The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The department noted that “Russia did not participate in these negotiations.”
