Baiterek Holding to Expand Support for Key Economic Sectors

Vice Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin announced at a government meeting that the Baiterek holding is increasing its support for Kazakhstan’s priority economic sectors, reports Orda.kz.
In just the first half of the year, financing for priority sectors through Baiterek totaled 2.9 trillion tenge. The plan is to increase that to 8 trillion tenge by year-end. This will provide an additional economic boost of approximately 1.3 percentage points,
said Zhumangarin.
He also noted that the holding's capitalization from the state budget would continue into the second half of the year.
Zhumangarin also reported record economic growth in Kazakhstan during the first half of 2025.
