Baibazarov Dismissed as National Economy Minister

President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev signed a decree on the Minister’s dismissal on Saturday, December 21, Orda.kz reports, citing Aqorda.
By decree of the Head of State, Nurlan Baibazarov has been relieved of his post as Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the statement said.
Baibazarov headed the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan on February 6, 2024.
Meanwhile, President Toqayev signed a decree appointing Serik Zhumangarin as the Minister of National Economy.
By decree of the head of state, Serik Makashevich Zhumangarin was appointed Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the report says.
Zhumangarin was relieved of his previous post.
Since September 2, 2022, he has served as Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
