Azerbaijani Ministry of Science and Education Urges Caution Over Claims of Ending Russian-Language Education

Azerbaijan has urged caution about spreading information about shutting down all Russian-language schools in the country, the Ministry of Science and Education stated, Orda.kz reports, citing APA.
The Ministry stated that when sharing such news, only official sources regarding decisions on the state's education policy should be referenced.
Earlier, reports surfaced that schools teaching in Russian might be phased out.

Meanwhile, RIA Novosti writes that Azerbaijan has no intention of shutting down all Russian-language schools in the country, also citing a ministerial response:
