AZAL Plane Crash: Turkish Experts to Be Involved in Investigation

According to the Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, the expert commission was formed at the request of the State Civil Aviation Agency of Azerbaijan, Orda.kz reports, citing Anadolu.
A group of eight Turkish specialists will participate in the investigation of the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines plane near Aqtau.
We will conduct a technical and operational analysis and provide the necessary support. We will work in coordination with the authorities to investigate all the circumstances of the incident and report the results, said Abdulkadir Uraloglu.
The delegation left for Baku on the evening of December 27 and will begin operations today.
Türkiye supports Azerbaijan under any circumstances, the Minister emphasized.
The ICAO has also said it is prepared to support the investigation by assigning an expert to work as an observer on the international investigation team in Aqtau.
