AZAL Plane Crash: Kazakhstan's Transport Ministry Explains Reports on Oxygen Cylinder

Kazakhstan's Ministry explained where the information about the explosion of an oxygen cylinder in the AZAL plane came from.
The Ministry says the information about the explosion was received from the control service of the Rostov-on-Don airport at 10.53 (about half an hour before the crash).
The Rostov flight control officer provided additional information to the flight control officer of the Aqtau Tower that an oxygen tank had exploded in the passenger cabin of the aircraft, passengers were losing consciousness, and requested resuscitation upon arrival. Based on this information, all rescue services were promptly notified, the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan said.
