AZAL Plane Crash: Azerbaijan Collecting Evidence in Plane Crash Investigation, Says Will Appeal to International Court

Baku is currently collecting evidence and facts, Orda.kz reports, citing the Azerbaijani news agency APA.
According to the agency, Azerbaijan has parts of the Pantsir-C missiles that shot down the plane.
We are forming an evidence base, collecting facts and evidence, preparing to appeal to an international court. However, the door to dialogue with Russia is open. Moscow must openly admit its guilt and take responsibility. Otherwise, Baku is ready for the next steps, writes ARA.
The Ministry of Transport has released a preliminary investigation report on the Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer-190 aircraft incident.
The experts have identified multiple through-and-through damages caused by foreign objects. Further studies and examinations will be conducted to determine their nature and origin.
The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan provided commentary on the report.
The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency, in their response to the report, emphasized its preliminary status.
The agency noted that the commission will continue its work, with conclusions to be presented in the subsequent report.
On December 25, a passenger aircraft en route from Baku to Grozny crashed near Aqtau airport.
The incident resulted in 38 fatalities, including six Kazakh citizens.
