A video recorded in an Almaty courtyard on September 15 shows several men trying to force a young woman into a car as she screams, "Let go! I don't want to! Please help!" Orda.kz reports.
Passersby who heard the cries intervened, managing to free the girl, after which the men fled the scene.
Police later confirmed they received a call from eyewitnesses and immediately dispatched a response team.
It turned out that the young man and the woman were acquainted. The woman declined to press charges or file a complaint. As a precaution, the man was warned about the consequences of illegal actions,
the Almaty City Police Department stated.
The video is not being published due to strong language.
