Astana Opera Theatre: Dariga Nazarbayeva and Others May Be Excluded from Trustees Board

The Kazakh government has proposed changes to the Board of Trustees of the state opera and ballet theater "Astana Opera," Orda.kz reports.
The Ministry of Culture and Information published the draft resolution on the Open NPA portal, citing personnel changes as the reason for the update. The document notes that several board members no longer hold the positions listed in the original resolution, necessitating a revision of the board’s composition.
The proposed changes aim to align the composition of the Board of Trustees with the current staffing structure,the resolution states.

- Patokh Shodiyev – Member of the Board of Managers, ERG S.a.r.l.
- Kenes Rakishev – Chair of the Board of Directors, "Fincraft Resources"
- Nurlan Smagulov – President of "Astana Group" Holding
- Luciano Vasques – Head of the Central Asian Branch, ENI S.p.A
