Artificial Intelligence to Help Kazakhstan's Akims
Artificial intelligence will help Kazakhstan's Akims, Orda reports.
In particular, AI will suggest what problems must be solved in a region.
A government session was held on implementing new digital technologies and artificial intelligence among government agencies.
The technology was tested in Ridder in assisting socially vulnerable groups.
For example, the city of Ridder. Here, the number of socially vulnerable families for four months is 3,643 families, as of November. At the same time, the AI identified the top 3 factors that affect the well-being of families. The factors that improve well-being are income and housing. 177 families have improved their situation today by getting a job and increasing their income. said Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Svetlana Zhakupova.
She also spoke about risk areas:
At the same time, the AI also identifies risk zone factors. There are 141 families without income, with whom Akims should work personally. Or send them to learn, get a profession, and find a job. Families without housing, there are 166 of them. Behind each number there is a specific family.
According to her, the AI also selects other topics concerning socially vulnerable categories, such as pre-trial proceedings, public and road safety, housing and communal services issues, land use, and legal proceedings.
AI also identifies the problems Akims need to work on. For example, the problem in Ridder is that a significant portion of families do not have pension contribution payers, which may indicate a high level of unemployment or employment in the informal sector. This is what the Akim needs to work on,added Zhakupova.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov appreciated the innovation. He believes such recommendations are necessary for all Akims, as they will save time.
