Armenia's Defense Ministry has denied the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's statement alleging that Armenian Armed Forces opened fire on Azerbaijani positions along the eastern and southeastern sections of the border from the evening of April 6 until 4:30 a.m. on April 7, Orda.kz reports.
The Ministry also recalled that the Armenian Prime Minister’s office had previously proposed establishing a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism to investigate ceasefire violations or reports thereof.
The Ministry claims it has yet to receive a response.
