Aqtau Plane Crash: Blogger Arrested for 10 Days for Drone Videos

Blogger Azamat Sarsenbayev received 10 days of administrative arrest for taking videos of the aftermath of the air crash in Aqtau using a drone, Orda reports.
His lawyer, Aibek Suyundukov, reported this on social networks.
According to the Mangystau Region Tupkaragan District Court ruling, Sarsenbayev was found guilty of disobeying a law enforcement officer's lawful demand. The court imposed a 10-day administrative arrest.
The lawyer explained that the punishment was imposed under Part 1 of Article 667 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, "Disobedience to a Lawful Demand of a Government Official."
It provides up to 15 days of arrest. The court considered the case's circumstances and rendered the minimum punishment.
The court ruling has not entered into legal force.
Azamat Sarsenbaev's lawyer intends to appeal the decision, emphasizing that his client's actions were not malicious and were meant to inform society.
