Aqsu District Court Chair Under Investigation for Corruption

Nurlan Shaimerdenov, Chair of the Aksu District Court, is under investigation on suspicion of corruption, reports Orda.kz.
According to preliminary information, the judge is suspected of accepting a bribe, though details of the investigation remain unknown.
The Anti-Corruption Service confirmed the launch of an investigation into Shaimerdenov.
Per legislation, other investigation details cannot be disclosed under Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
