Antikor Arrests Yenbek Enterprise Officials for Bribery
Kazakhstan's Anti-Corruption Agency has uncovered a bribery scheme, Orda reports.
The case centers on officials at the "Yenbek" State Enterprise, which operates under the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Correctional System Committee and manages prisoner employment programs.
According to the agency, the suspects allegedly accepted bribes from business owners in exchange for awarding government contracts and approving work completion certificates and payment documents.
Both suspects have been detained while the pre-trial investigation continues.
